The show stays close to the book here, with nothing major changed, cut, or invented.
A faithful adaptation. Stopping points are given after each aired block, because that is what sources state precisely. The final-arc anime (season 5) airs in two cours: cour 1 finished in March 2026, and the climax 'Runaway Train' cour is confirmed for this winter but has not aired yet. Two theatrical prologue films (October 2025) preceded cour 1 as an advance release of the same material, not new story.
